About Me

My name is H. Lawson, and I’m a multimedia artist based in Keizer, Oregon.

With a focus on animation pre-production, photography and illustration, I primarily use Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Character Animator to create stories featuring out of the box characters along side odd and unique worlds. I have an eye for detail and love to tackle dark topics in a relateable and personable way. I strive to create interesting, distinctive and impressive work that speaks to the viewer in more ways than one, as well as use my wide array of skills to create a lasting impression on a viewer.

With photography, I work with a range of subjects and styles, ranging from candid, to event, to portrait, with my personal favorite being nature photography. I seek to find the best photo in even the dullest atmosphere, using lighting and unique angles to create stunning and impactful images that are great for both personal and business use.

I have an AAS in Multimedia Art, which covers animation, graphic design, photography, and videography; and have worked with several companies and charities to create promotional and informational material that use both shot on location footage, photography and motion graphics.

In my free time I enjoy working on and writing my own original stories, drawing, sculpting, playing video games, aquarium keeping and hanging out with my friends, family, dog.
